Thursday, July 17, 2014

BURGERS are probably one of the best things you could enjoy eating at home when it's home made unlike the rubber burger patties we eat from the fast food chains. You could also innovate as much as you want in it.

I'll be posting a lot of burger recipes but today, I'm posting my special recipe for the Thin Double Cheese Bacon Burger in Garlic Cheese Kaiser Buns!

*Your ingredients should have:
- 500g ground beef (20% fat)
- Kaiser bread
- Sliced Cheddar Cheese
- 120g beef bacon
- Butter (Room Temprature for spreading)
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
- garlic
- Mayonaise

Burger spices and marinade
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 5 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp paprica
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp bbq sauce or steak sauce
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp salt
- 3tbsp pepper

**Method:

- Mix your 500g of ground beef with the spices and marinade together... don't over mix it it shouldn't be smooth. having a smooth mixture will make it lose the juices. Shape your patties and place them in the fridge for 30 minutes

- Meanwhile cook the beef bacon in a pan 3 minutes for each side and drain it in kitchen paper

- Heat your pan grill and put butter in it till it melts then place you burger patties on high heat for 1 minute then 3 minutes on medium heat then flip your burgers and place your cheese slices on top on low heat till it melts.

- After you remove the burger from the heat, cover them in aluminium paper so it doesn't dry. Then, get your Kaiser Bread, spread butter and garlic on it then grill till it's a bit toasted on the inside.

- Spread your mayonaise on it, lay your burger patties, place the bacon on top, put the other bun, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and put it in the oven for 5 minutes and your mighty burgers are ready to be served!

**NB: This time I paired my burgers with Classic Mac'N'Cheese... I'll be posting it's special recipe next week!
