Ingredients:
-1 can peeled tomatoes
-2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
-3 cloves garlic, sliced into chunks
-Pinch red pepper flakes
-2 handful fresh basil
-Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-250 grams spaghetti

Instructions:
-Add olive oil to a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add add the garlic. If you'd like to make the sauce spicier, add a pinch red pepper.

-Add the tomatoes, crush it and season with salt and pepper.
-Simmer on a medium-low flame for about a half hour. -Before taking the sauce off the fire, add half the basil and season with salt and pepper.
To serve: Cook your pasta al dente (8mins) and toss it in your sauce. Let it simmer for 5 mins so all flavors incorporate well and finish with couple of leaves of basil and drizzle olive oil!
